Music is a necessary and important part of people’s lives. It has become a part of us, and who we are. It represents our feelings, opinion and mood. So what type of music displays my feelings?

To begin with, I like all types of music, but the most touching and emotive for me is the alternative rock. Actually, I have never been fond of hard and sharp music, but alternative is more lyrical and soulful, and it always makes me be philosophical. What is more, not only the music keeps me in a lunatic mood, but also the lyrics becomes a breeding ground for my reflections. I like being self-absorbed, and alternative music gives me what I need: the evenness and pleasure.

On the other hand, this type of music’s listeners and exponents are said to become drug or alcohol addict. I hope this is an exaggerated belief. Listening to alternative is indeed dangerous, especially for sensitive and impressible people, but I believe we can make it.

All in all, we like those types of music that make us feel happy and what are after our own hearts. If only music does not lead people to troubles, then it helps us to understand something in others and ourselves.
